Do you ever go through periods where every song you hear seems to resonate with you or seems to be speaking to where you are in life?  This is where I have been living for a few months now and this song “Beautiful” has been one of several songs that has strengthened my communion with God, so I wanted to share it.

God has been talking to me about the past and the future, teaching me about the past and given me peace and hope about the things to come.  It is a time in my faith that I have not experienced before.    Whether  it is calm in the storm, steps of faith, the Refiners fire, learning to trust or answered prayers, the Lord is making this life beautiful in ways that I cannot put into words yet.  I tried to express this in an ad-hoc post recently called Climbing Mount Perspective but so much of what I wrote can still be unpacked to show what God is doing.  It is truly amazing because I could not have said this a year ago, but now I watch God putting things in place, answering prayers right before my eyes as I am learning to trust Him with everything else.
